Job summary

University Hospitals of North Midlands NHS Trust is seeking an Estates Electrical Craftsperson to join the Estates Team at Royal Stoke University Hospital. You will work on maintenance and repair of the hospital's electrical services, contributing to a high level of patient care.

The ideal candidate will have experience with electrical repairs and a working knowledge of decontamination. You will be a supportive team player across two sites in the Trust.

Qualifications

• Maintenance and repair of hospital electrical services.
• Experience with electrical repairs is preferred; knowledge of decontamination is a plus.
• Able to work effectively as part of a large Estates team.

Responsibilities

• Carry out maintenance and repair to the hospital electrical systems.
• Assist in ensuring high levels of service across Royal Stoke University Hospital and County Hospital.

Job description

At present, University Hospitals of North Midlands is unable to offer visa sponsorship for Band 2 to Band 4 roles, as these positions do not meet the minimum salary and skill thresholds required under UK Visas and Immigration (UKVI) regulations.

The University of North Midlands is looking to recruit an Estates Electrical Craftsperson to work within the Estates Team at Royal Stoke University Hospital. You will be keen and enthusiastic working within a large team to assist in the provision of a high level of service to the hospital. Your duties will include carrying out maintenance and repair to the hospitals Electrical services.

The candidate will ideally have experience with electrical repairs and electrical services and having knowledge around decontamination would be an advantage. It is essential that you are an effective team worker, with the ability to provide support to other trades within the Estates Department.

You will have the opportunity to demonstrate your skills, knowledge and experience via an interview process.
