Job summary

Bristol NHS Foundation Trust is seeking an Estates & Facilities Management Trainer to join our Training & Development Team. You will deliver practical and classroom-based training, support new starters through their induction journey, assess workplace competence, and contribute to the ongoing development of our Estates and Facilities workforce.

Qualifications

• Minimum Level 3 Education and Training competency.
• Desirable Level 4 CIEH Food Safety Certification.

Responsibilities

• Assist in developing and delivering effective work skills training to staff groups.
• Coordinate with staff, managers, and divisions to optimise learning opportunities in the workplace and classroom.
• Observe new staff to ensure they can demonstrate and utilise new skills after initial training.
• Identify training needs and assist in developing programmes in response.
• Evaluate the effectiveness of training programmes and assess their impact on the service.
• Provide information to staff regarding their training requirements and maintain documentation.
• Stay updated on national and local priorities, policies, procedures and training guidelines.
• Maintain privacy and handle sensitive information professionally.
• Assist with other training department duties as needed.
• Ensure training area is prepared and maintained for learning.
