Job summary

Mid and South Essex NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a suitably qualified Technician to join our Estates team. The role involves maintenance, improvement and minor capital works across our facilities to support patient care.

You will advise and train colleagues on safe operation of equipment, liaise with service contractors, and help ensure reliable plant and systems across our sites at Broomfield, Chelmsford.

Qualifications

• Work history demonstrating teamwork and contribution to team progression.
• Experience creating reports in Word/Excel.
• Experience of lone working and responsibility for own workload.
• Recent practical experience of Electrical/Mechanical systems.

Responsibilities

• Provide maintenance, improvements and minor capital works on facilities across our sites.
• Advise and train colleagues in safe operation of equipment and systems.
• Liaise with service contractors for access, shutdowns and repairs to support ongoing maintenance.
