Job summary

The Henley College in Henley-on-Thames is seeking an Estates Technician to join our Premises & Estates team. This part-time, permanent role is 25 hours a week, Monday to Friday, 3pm to 8pm, year-round.

You will help maintain buildings, grounds, and facilities to keep the campus safe, welcoming and well-presented for students, staff and visitors. You will perform routine maintenance, assist with event setups, and support security procedures while working as part of a dedicated team.

Qualifications

• Experience in building, grounds or facilities maintenance.
• Ability to carry out practical repairs and maintenance tasks.
• Good practical and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Carry out routine maintenance, repairs and improvements to College buildings, grounds and facilities.
• Support upkeep of external areas through grounds maintenance and seasonal duties.
• Assist with room set-ups and event preparations.
• Support building security and ensure facilities remain safe and operational.
• Receive deliveries and work with contractors as required.
