Job summary

Cirencester College is seeking a reliable Estates Technician to cover estate duties around the busy College. Reporting to the Head of Estates and Environment, you will support the College by completing routine and reactive tasks and work as part of a team.

The role will lead on sourcing resources and quotes for vehicle maintenance, MIDAS procedures, carpentry, plumbing, groundworks and electrics, with a 4-week shift pattern and on-call allowances. Closing date 29 October 2026.

Reporting to the Head of Estates and Environment you will support the whole College by completing routine and reactive tasks.The role will include responsibility to allow the successful candidate to lead on sourcing resources and quotes for two key skill areas in the department e.g. vehicle maintenance, college driving procedures (MIDAS), carpentry, plumbing, groundworks and electrics.The role will be on a 4 week shift pattern for which an allowance is made. The role also includes an on-call allowance.Early Shift: Mon-Thurs 7am-3pm, Fri 7am - 2:30pmMiddle Shift (2 shifts): Mon- Thurs 10am - 6pm, Fri 10am - 5:30pmLate Shift: Mon - Wed 1:30pm - 9:30pm, Thurs 12 Noon - 8pm, Fri 12:30 pm - 8pmClosing Date: 29th October 2026, noon - we reserve the right to interview prior to the closing date.This position will close once sufficient applications are received.We regret that due to the large number of applications we receive we are only able to contact those candidates to be interviewed.
