Job summary

Only FE is seeking an Estates Operative to join our Facilities and Estates team on a part-time basis. The role supports campus operation across buildings and grounds, maintaining safety and presentation to a high standard.

Working hours are within the 7.30am–9.30pm window with a seven-hour day and a 30-minute lunch break. The service includes occasional weekends; two posts have different daily patterns but both require a proactive, reliable team player with basic maintenance knowledge and a

Qualifications

• Knowledge of basic maintenance and repair work.
• Understanding of health, safety and welfare regulations including fire safety requirements.
• Excellent customer service skills and a flexible approach to work.

Responsibilities

• Support day-to-day operation of campus across buildings and grounds.
• Maintain high standards of the estate, presenting facilities to the highest standard.
• Respond to operational requirements and help ensure facilities are fit for purpose.
• Work within service hours; pattern may be adjusted following consultation.
• Undertake First Aid responsibilities with training provided.
