Job summary

Only FE is seeking an Estates Operative to join the Facilities and Estates team on a part-time basis. You will help keep College buildings and grounds welcoming, safe and well maintained, with responsibilities across the estate.

The role operates within 7.30am–9.30pm windows with two posts; you will work seven hours per day plus a 30-minute lunch break, with pattern adjustments by Estates Management. First Aid duties are included with full training provided.

Qualifications

• Experience in basic maintenance and repair tasks in a facilities environment.
• Strong customer service skills and team collaboration.
• Good understanding of health, safety and welfare regulations, including fire safety.
• Willingness to undertake First Aid responsibilities with training provided.

Responsibilities

• Support the day-to-day operation of the campus.
• Carry out a wide range of duties across College buildings and grounds.
• Maintain high standards throughout the estate and ensure facilities are fit for purpose.
• Respond to operational requirements and contribute to the smooth running of the College estate.
