Job summary

Joseph Holt Brewery in Manchester is seeking an Estates and Building Manager to lead the upkeep of a multi-site property portfolio, including pubs, brewery facilities and offices. The role combines office, brewery, and site-based duties with regular travel across the estate and occasional out-of-hours response for emergencies and major projects.

Qualifications

• Experience managing a multi-site property or pub estate.
• Strong knowledge of building maintenance and property compliance.
• Experience managing contractors and capital projects.
• Budget management experience.
• Excellent organisational and communication skills.
• Full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day maintenance and operation of the property portfolio.
• Conduct regular inspections of pubs, brewery facilities, and estate assets.
• Develop and implement planned preventative maintenance programmes.
• Coordinate contractors, consultants, architects and surveyors.
• Prepare budgets and monitor expenditure for maintenance and capital projects.
• Support acquisition, disposal and development projects as required.
