Job summary

Joseph Holt Brewery is seeking an Estates and Building Manager to lead maintenance across pubs, breweries, offices and warehouses. Based at the Manchester Brewery, you’ll travel the estate, coordinate refurbishment projects, supervise contractors and ensure regulatory compliance.

The role requires strong budget control, planning, and stakeholder liaison. You will manage asset records, drive cost efficiencies, and support major projects while ensuring safety and legal standards across the

Qualifications

• Experience managing a multi-site property or pub estate.
• Strong knowledge of building maintenance and property compliance.
• Experience managing contractors and capital projects.
• Budget management experience.
• Excellent organisational and communication skills.
• Full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day maintenance and operation of the property portfolio.
• Coordinate refurbishment, capital projects and contractor activity.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, fire and building regulations.
• Prepare budgets, monitor spend, and approve invoices.
• Provide technical guidance to pub managers and operational teams.
