Job summary

Blackpool Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is seeking an experienced Estates Electrical Service Manager to lead the day-to-day operational management of the hospital electrical network across acute sites. You will develop an efficient, cost‑effective, electrical infrastructure with a mix of in-house and contracted teams.

The role requires strong leadership, knowledge of 18th Edition regulations, and alignment with Atlas and Trust policies.

Qualifications

• Degree in Electrical Engineering with relevant senior-level experience.
• Professional registration with a relevant body (CIBSE/IHEEM) or equivalent.
• Knowledge of 18th Edition Regulations and electrical safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead on the continuous improvement of estate electrical services to support strategic goals.
• Coordinate with Atlas teams (Capital, Property, Community Estates) for interfaces and projects.
• Ensure procurement, design, and management of minor electrical projects in line with policies and guidelines.
