Job summary

The Shrewsbury and Telford Hospital NHS Trust seeks an Estates Manager (Operations) - Electrical to lead, monitor, and develop a strategic road map for full electrical compliance across the Trust portfolio. You will analyse electrical infrastructure risks, implement mitigations, and ensure adherence to governing policies and procedures with a proactive, leadership-driven approach.

As an experienced Estates Compliance Manager, you will coordinate and manage electrical compliance activities,

Qualifications

Monitor and manage Estates compliance with current and forthcoming equality, health & safety, environmental and other estates-related statutory and mandatory legislation.
Act as Electrical operational lead for Estates H&S, Risk and HTM Specialist Committees, ensuring timely collation and preparation of papers.
Provide regular assurance reports for Trust Committees including Infection Prevention Committee, Operational Risk Group and Health, Safety, Security and Fire Committee.
Act as the Trust's Responsible Person for operational electrical compliance and other AP duties as agreed.

Responsibilities

Co-ordinate, monitor and manage Estates compliance regarding Electrical Compliance.
Record and document actions in appropriate systems and review risk assessments and SOPs.
Support and drive productivity and efficiency improvement initiatives for Estates by producing performance reports.
