Job summary

GREAT ORMOND STREET HOSPITAL NHS FOUNDATION TRUST seeks an Electrical Engineering Compliance Manager to oversee electrical compliance across the Estates Maintenance team and support the Principal Electrical Engineer with the hospital's electrical strategy. This role will act as the Authorised Person for LV sitewide and deputise for the Principal Electrical Engineer when required.

The role includes supervising contractors, managing the Generator Testing Programme, and delivering HTM-compliant

Qualifications

• Authorised Person duties for LV electrical services.
• Ensure HTM and statutory compliance requirements.
• Oversee contractor compliance and safe working practices.

Responsibilities

• Act as deputy for Principal Electrical Engineer when needed.
• Lead Generator Testing Programme to ensure site safety.
• Procure works and produce reports for Board-level reporting requirements.
• Maintain up-to-date policies and SOPs aligned with HTM/SFG20 changes.
• Keep CAFM data complete and accurate for electrical compliance.
• Coordinate access to clinically operational areas across the site.
• On-call rota participation and out-of-hours support as required.
