Job summary

Hull University Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust is seeking an Estates Officer for Decontamination to oversee the management and maintenance of engineering plant and systems across hospital sites. Qualifications

• Experience in estates management and hospital maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Manage staff and day-to-day operations and maintenance of engineering plant and systems at Trust properties and hospital sites.
• Lead validation, testing, commissioning and maintenance of decontamination, sterilisation and disinfection equipment (HTM 01-01).
• Coordinate maintenance and testing programmes for sterilisers and washer disinfectors; liaise with Operations and Maintenance officers for resource planning.
• Develop, implement and review planned preventative maintenance for Ventilation, Air Conditioning Systems (HTM 03) and Water Systems (HTM 04); liaise with Legionella control lead.
• Approve invoices on budgets in line with organisational procedures.
• Support Estates Operational Management on related matters.
• Highlight partnership with Humber Health Partnership and the Trusts involved.
