Job summary

Wellspring Academy Trust invites applications for a Site Operative to support compliance and maintenance across the West area, working across multiple academies. You will help ensure safe, clean, and well-maintained premises that support pupils and staff.

Reporting to the Estates team, you will monitor systems, assist with contractor coordination, and help deliver planned maintenance and day-to-day repairs to enhance teaching and learning environments.

Qualifications

• Monitor and update the TRM estates system across multiple sites.
• Support training for TRM users to use the system effectively.
• Assist with implementation of policies and procedures for smooth operations.

Responsibilities

• Develop and improve academy buildings, sites and grounds to benefit pupils and staff.
• Coordinate estates maintenance across multiple academies.
• Supervise site operatives in day-to-day duties.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Assist with inspection and condition of school grounds, buildings and services.
• Co-ordinate specialist contractors.
• Undertake planned preventative maintenance and minor repairs.
