Job summary

Reach Academy Feltham is seeking a facilities and grounds role to support the security, porterage, and upkeep across the school site. The role includes monitoring contracts and contractors, as well as routine maintenance and refurbishment tasks to keep the environment safe and welcoming.

Typical hours run 7am–4pm, with potential flexibility to open earlier, close later, or cover weekends on occasion, to support staff on leave and school operations.

Job description

The person will be a keyholder and will work 7am-4pm. Flexibility might be required to support other shifts when members of the team are on leave which might include opening at 6am, closing at 10pm and working weekends occasionally from 8am-4.30pm.

The role includes a wide range of duties and responsibilities connected with the fabric and grounds of the school. These responsibilities include security, porterage, monitoring contracts/contractors, routine maintenance and refurbishment as well as minor repairs/ painting/ decorating.
