Job description

The Role: Estates and FM Administrator

Sector: Property & Facilities Management

Location: Midlands – flexible

Salary: £27,000pa

I am working with a great student accommodation client to help them find a switched-on, enthusiastic Estates and FM Administrator. The incoming candidate will need to be fairly tech-savvy, highly organized, able to work autonomously, and proficient with Excel spreadsheets. Ideally, you will have previous experience in a similar role, perhaps assisting or running a help desk for a large estate or similar.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support and coordinate Estates and Facilities services across the national estate of 33 buildings.
  • Assist in coordinating all matters related to FM services across the national sites.
  • Manage health & safety matters and ensure the efficient operation of all Facilities Management activities, including reactive, planned, and project-related services.
  • Maintain harmonious relationships with all building users across the estate.
  • Assist in the coordination and delivery of day-to-day Facilities Management services.
  • Support the delivery of effective maintenance services.
  • Provide concise information to the estate and related teams regarding issues, actions taken, and resolutions.
  • Coordinate the efficient use of labour, materials, plant, and equipment within the allocated budgets.

Key Skills and Experience:

  • Previous experience with CAFM systems.
  • Excellent knowledge of Excel and MS Office products.
  • Clear and concise communication skills.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Strong knowledge of H&S legislation.
  • Experience in supporting, receiving, and logging information across asset registers and compliance policies in a timely manner.
  • Ability to analyze data and work independently without micro-management.
