Job Overview
The Facilities Supervisor is a member of the LPT Estates and Facilities team. The postholder will support the Facilities Co-ordinator in delivering high-quality soft facilities services and will be responsible for managing the effective and efficient delivery of local site services and facilities daily. The postholder will assist in the day-to-day operations of the multi-skilled Facilities Department, ensuring optimal resource utilization.
Reporting to the Facilities Co-ordinator, the postholder will ensure all services comply with National Standards and may deputise for the Co-ordinator when needed. They will ensure services are delivered in a safe, appropriate environment for patients and visitors and that staff can effectively deliver care. The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic, highly motivated, possess good communication, organizational skills, and an analytical approach to problem-solving. They should be capable of promoting the Facilities department, presenting a customer-focused service, developing new skills, and staying updated with technological advancements.
The role requires working various shifts, including weekends and bank holidays.
