The Shrewsbury and Telford Hospital NHS Trust is seeking an Administrative Assistant to support the Estates Directorate. This role involves administering the Salto access control system, providing administrative assistance, and ensuring efficient reception services. Candidates should possess strong keyboard skills and experience with filing systems.
The Trust's aim is always to put patients at the heart of everything we do and is guided by the principles and Trust values developed by our staff. In line with this vision, the Estates Directorate are seeking to recruit an Administrative Assistant who exemplifies the values to join our team.
You will help to support and administer the Salto access control system cards, a new system being implemented in the Trust.
You will work independently to provide administrative support to the Estates team, acting as the first point of contact for enquiries from ‘end-users’ of the Estates services via the Helpdesk.
You will also help cover to ensure an efficient Reception/’Front of House’ service is provided for the Estates Department, including implementing ‘Contractor Control’ procedures, and issuing Staff ID badges and access control cards.
The successful applicant will have a positive can-do attitude, demonstrate flexibility and initiative when handling various administrative duties, and have experience with filing systems.
Applicants should possess developed keyboard skills and a good working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel.

You will also act as the first point of contact for enquiries from ‘end-users’ of the Estates services via the Helpdesk and associated software.
