Job summary

Peabody is seeking an Estate Services Caretaker to ensure estates are clean, safe and welcoming. You will handle lighting checks, cleaning of communal areas, and act as the friendly on-site presence five days a week.

The role emphasises hands-on caretaking with a company van and a strong community focus, reporting to the Talent Specialist team. DBS check and a full UK driving licence are required.

Qualifications

• Experience in caretaking or cleaning.
• Full, clean UK manual driving licence.
• Willingness to work on-site five days a week.
• Ability to use powered equipment.

This role is a fixed-term contract until September 2027

At Peabody, we’re looking for a hands-on, people-focused Estate Services Caretaker to help us keep our estates looking their best. From lighting checks to cleaning communal areas, you’ll be the friendly face residents rely on to keep things spotless and welcoming.

What Your Day Might Look Like

• Start with a lighting check—swap out any bulbs that need replacing
• Roll up your sleeves and get stuck into cleaning duties across your designated areas
• Work closely with your team and residents to keep things running smoothly and safely
• Be a visible, approachable presence on-site five days a week

We’re Looking for Someone Who

• Has a full, clean UK manual driving licence
