Job summary

Peabody is seeking an Estate Services Caretaker to keep our estates clean, safe and welcoming. You’ll be out on site five days a week, meeting residents, performing lighting checks, and coordinating with your team to maintain communal areas.

You’ll bring caretaking or cleaning experience, a full UK driving licence, and the ability to operate power equipment. The role includes a company van, generous holiday, volunteering days, and a strong benefits package.

At Peabody, we’re looking for a hands-on, people-focused Estate Services Caretaker to help us keep our estates looking their best. From monitoring communal areas to making sure everything is spotless and welcoming, you’ll be the friendly face residents rely on.

What your day might look like:

• Start with a quick lighting check – swap out any bulbs that need replacing.
• Roll up your sleeves and get stuck into cleaning duties across your designated areas.
• Work closely with your team and residents to keep things running smoothly and safely.

• Has a full, clean UK driving licence.
• Brings experience in caretaking or cleaning.
