Job summary

The post requires driving duties and will contribute to a programme of ongoing inspection and re-inspection to maintain compliance across housing estates.

Qualifications

• Full valid driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Inspect communal areas within blocks of flats to ensure compliance with health and safety, building and fire regulations.
• Maintain areas owned by the council and keep fly tipped rubbish, debris, graffiti and litter away.
• Inspect fire doors and ensure Means of Escape is clear and that communal areas are kept tidy.
• Carry out inspections and re-inspections as part of a statutory compliance programme.
