Job summary

Mansfield District Council is seeking an Estate Caretaker to maintain council-owned areas, keeping fly tipped rubbish, litter, graffiti and debris to a minimum while ensuring safe, tidy surroundings across residential blocks.

You will conduct regular inspections of communal areas within blocks of flats to check compliance with health and safety, building and fire regulations, and assist the tenancy management and compliance teams as part of an ongoing inspection regime.

Qualifications

• Experience or understanding of health and safety, building and fire regulations is desirable.
• Full driving licence is required.

Responsibilities

• Maintain council-owned areas and keep communal spaces free from litter, debris, graffiti.
• Inspect and ensure compliance with health and safety and fire regulations in blocks of flats.
