Job Description

Job Title: Estate Operations Supervisor

Working Pattern: Full-time - on site 5 days per week

Working Location: Raynesway, Derby

Reporting to the Estate Operations Manager, the Estate Operations Supervisor is part of the Infrastructure Estate Management Team, acting as a principal contact between multiple stakeholders, evaluating, deconflicting, and approving works in support of estates operations and contractor activities. The role involves working within HSE and security processes to deliver all infrastructure works undertaken by Submarines business staff, embedded contractors, and other contractors, ensuring works are completed according to schedule and correctly permitted and controlled in line with agreed arrangements.

What you will be doing

• Supporting the implementation of Facility Management Asset Management requirements, standards, SLAs, processes, and resources to meet statutory, corporate, and regulatory obligations.
• Providing guidance to site personnel and contractors regarding Work Control Centre procedures, in line with R-R HSE Control of Contractor Control Standard (CS-06) and Licence Conditions.
• Supporting the delivery and assurance of security, safety, and performance of Facilities Management Service Providers.
• Contributing to the development of a risk-based, affordable forward capital plan linked to asset management.
• Scoping and evaluating work requests and risk assessments, prioritising critical tasks.
• Assisting in planning and scheduling tasks, supporting planning meetings.
• Maintaining statistics on schedule adherence, contractor performance, and risks.
• Participating in the Submarines Business - Business Continuity plan development.
• Promoting continuous improvement in estate management processes and procedures.
• Supporting individual and major infrastructure projects as needed.

• IOSH Managing Safely (or equivalent)
• Strong organisational and time-management skills
• Ability to build relationships and influence process conformity
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with attention to detail
• Risk and COSHH assessment training, knowledge of IOSH/PUWER/LOLER
• Familiarity with HSE guidelines for Contractor Control or R-R CS-06 and CDM regulations 2015
• Knowledge of Planned Maintenance Processes and regulations for Nuclear Licensed sites
