Job summary

National Skills Agency Ltd is seeking an Estate & Lettings Agent Tutor to train apprentices across the UK from a home-based setting with travel as required.

The role focuses on delivering high-quality coaching, managing a caseload, and supporting progression to gateway and end-point assessment. Essential qualifications include GCSE English/maths, Level 3 teaching, and CAVA/IQA, plus driving licence and strong IT skills.

Qualifications

• GCSE English and maths at grade 4–9 or equivalent.
• Level 3 teaching qualification (AET/PTLLS or equivalent).
• CAVA and/or IQA qualification.
• Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle.
• Experience delivering training and supporting learners.
• Knowledge of Ofsted requirements and quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging, high-quality training and support to apprentices.
• Manage a caseload and monitor learner progress and achievement.
• Conduct regular reviews with apprentices and employers.
• Set targets, identify skills gaps and provide appropriate support.
• Provide feedback and help apprentices prepare for gateway and end-point assessment.
• Maintain accurate learner records and complete required documentation.
• Build positive relationships with apprentices, employers and colleagues.
• Identify learners at risk and implement appropriate improvement plans.
• Support English, maths, digital skills and wider employability development.
• Contribute to quality improvement, team activities and business development.

Job Title: Estate & Lettings Agent Tutor

Salary: £40-£45k depending on experience

Location: Home-based, with travel as required

Role Overview

The Estate & Lettings Agent Tutor will manage a caseload of apprentices, providing high-quality training, coaching and mentoring to support successful achievement of their apprenticeship and progression to gateway and end-point assessment.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging, high-quality training and support to apprentices.
• Manage a caseload and monitor learner progress and achievement.
• Conduct regular reviews with apprentices and employers.
• Set targets, identify skills gaps and provide appropriate support.
• Provide feedback and help apprentices prepare for gateway and end-point assessment.
• Maintain accurate learner records and complete required documentation.
• Build positive relationships with apprentices, employers and colleagues.
• Identify learners at risk and implement appropriate improvement plans.
• Support English, maths, digital skills and wider employability development.
• Contribute to quality improvement, team activities and business development.
• Maintain current industry knowledge and comply with safeguarding, Ofsted and company requirements.

• Level 3 Housing & Property Management
• Level 4 Senior Housing & Property Management

Person Specification

Essential:

• GCSE English and maths at grade 4–9 or equivalent.
• Level 3 teaching qualification (AET/PTLLS or equivalent).
• CAVA and/or IQA qualification.
• Relevant subject knowledge or qualification.
• Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle.
• Experience delivering training and supporting learners.
• Knowledge of Ofsted requirements and quality standards.
• Strong communication, organisation and time-management skills.
• Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office and online learning platforms.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Desirable:

• Experience delivering Functional Skills English and maths.
• Curriculum and resource development experience.
• Experience using platforms such as OneFile.

Additional requirement: Enhanced DBS check, including Children's Barred List.
