Job summary

The National Skills Agency Ltd is seeking an Estate & Lettings Agent Tutor to train apprentices from a home-based setting with travel as required. You will manage a caseload, deliver engaging training, conduct regular reviews with learners and employers, set targets and help learners prepare for gateway and end-point assessment while keeping accurate records.

Essential: GCSE English/Maths, Level 3 teaching qualification, CAVA/IQA, driving licence, and experience delivering training; desirable:

Qualifications

• GCSE English and maths at grade 4–9 or equivalent.
• Level 3 teaching qualification (AET/PTLLS or equivalent).
• CAVA and/or IQA qualification.
• Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle.
• Experience delivering training and supporting learners.
• Knowledge of Ofsted requirements and quality standards.
• Strong communication, organisation and time-management skills.
• Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office and online learning platforms.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Role Overview

The Estate & Lettings Agent Tutor will manage a caseload of apprentices, providing high-quality training, coaching and mentoring to support successful achievement of their apprenticeship and progression to gateway and end-point assessment.

Person Specification

Essential:

• GCSE English and maths at grade 4–9 or equivalent.
• Level 3 teaching qualification (AET/PTLLS or equivalent).
• CAVA and/or IQA qualification.
• Relevant subject knowledge or qualification.
• Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle.
• Experience delivering training and supporting learners.
• Knowledge of Ofsted requirements and quality standards.
• Strong communication, organisation and time-management skills.
• Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office and online learning platforms.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Desirable:

• Experience delivering Functional Skills English and maths.
• Curriculum and resource development experience.
• Experience using platforms such as OneFile.

Additional requirement: Enhanced DBS check, including Children's Barred List.
