Job summary

Places for People is seeking a grounds maintenance operative to care for estates across surrounding areas. You will mow, edge, trim hedges, plant trees and shrubs, and keep walkways and car parks clear.

Weekly checks on equipment, litter picks, and estate improvement works. A PA1/PA6 NPTC Spraying Licence and manual driving licence are essential.

Qualifications

• PA1 and PA6 NPTC Spraying Licence required.
• Manual driving licence (ideally with towing ability).
• Needle and Sharp safety awareness.

Responsibilities

• You will perform mowing, edging, trimming hedges and maintain soft landscaping areas.
• You will plant trees, flowers and shrubs and clear snow from pedestrian areas.
• You will conduct weekly checks on groundskeeping equipment and perform litter picks.
• You will assist with estate improvement works and ensure compliance checks for safety.
