Job summary

ESS Employment Ltd in Stroud is seeking a Fabricator to join a permanent, on-site role. The candidate will work with mild steel, stainless steel and other non-ferrous metals, reading drawings and maintaining strict tolerances to deliver quality fabrication for a range of projects.

The role requires attention to detail, reliability and the ability to work with minimal supervision in a busy workshop environment. CSCS or similar cards are desirable but not essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in fabrication with metals including mild steel and stainless steel.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
• Comfortable working with thin gauge sheet metal.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Knowledge of various manufacturing processes and tools.
• Strong Health & Safety awareness at work.

HOURS: 07.30 – 16.30 Monday to Thursday and 07.30 – 15.00 Friday

We require a Fabricator. The successful applicant must have a good fabricating background having worked with a variety of metals, including mild steel, stainless steel, as well as most non-ferrous metals.

Our client offers a comprehensive one-stop solution, from concept and assisting with product design through manufacture to installation, and their team of qualified coded welders are committed to providing the large customer base with quality workmanship, whether small or large batch projects.

Working closely with local councils, architects and designers, they have a lot of experience of manufacturing Pressure vessels, Storage tanks, Silos, Cages, Work Platforms, Security Gates & Grilles, Bollards, Balconies, Railings, Hoop ladders, Gantries and Walkways, Mezzanine Floors, Ductwork, Staircases & Fire Escapes for any application.

Job Responsibilities

• Worked with various metals.
