Job summary

ESS Employment Ltd is hiring a Process Operative in Surface Treatments for our client in Stroud, Gloucestershire. The role involves preparing components for surface treatment, following detailed instructions, and recording processing times.

You will support a safety-first culture and contribute to continuous improvement in the Surface Treatment department. Immediate start after successful interview; 39 hours per week, day shift.

Qualifications

• Experience within a Surface Treatment Operation.
• Aerospace Processing Environment experience.
• Ability to follow Process Instructions.
• High attention to detail with quality awareness.

Responsibilities

• Preparation of components for surface treatment including masking, media blasting and waxing.
• Process components following detailed process instructions and data sheets.
• Record processing times and outcomes from surface treatment operations.
• Promote a safety-first culture within the department.
• Support Continuous Improvement within the Surface Treatment team and the wider business.

Vacancy – Process Operative

We are looking to recruit a Process Operative in Surface Treatments for our client in Stroud, Gloucestershire..

Hours: 39 Hours per week- Day Shift, typically 7:30am to 4pm (Mon – Thu), Friday 7:30am to 3pm. 30 mins daily unpaid break

The Process Operatives form a key component of the Stroud Manufacturing Team, completing surface treatments on Aerospace Components for all leading Aircraft Manufacturers and their supporting subcontractors.

Key Responsibilities and Duties

• Preparation of components for surface treatment including but not limited to, masking, media blasting & waxing

• Process components following detailed process instructions / data sheets

• Record processing times and outcomes from surface treatment operations

• Supporting Continuous Improvement within the Surface Treatment department and the general business

• Ability to follow Process Instructions

• Willing to train and learn new skills

• High attention to detail with strong quality awareness

• Experience within a Surface Treatment Operation

• Experience of an Aerospace Processing Environment
