Brighton & Hove City Council is seeking an enthusiastic ESOL Tutor to join our Adult Skills Hub in Brighton. You will help both young people and adult learners improve English language skills, confidence and progression into further learning, employment and community life.

Plan and deliver high-quality ESOL programmes, create learning materials, monitor progress, provide feedback, and promote inclusion and safeguarding in all aspects of teaching in a flexible hours, part-time role with a salary

Formación

• Recognised teaching qualification or equivalent.
• Experience teaching ESOL to diverse learners.
• Knowledge of current teaching, learning and assessment practices.

Responsabilidades

• Plan and deliver high-quality ESOL programmes for young people and adults.
• Create engaging lesson plans, schemes of work and learning materials tailored to learner needs.
• Monitor and record learner progress through ILPs and assessments.
• Provide effective assessment, feedback and pastoral support.
• Promote equality, diversity, inclusion, safeguarding and Prevent in all aspects of teaching.
