Job summary

Prospero Teaching is seeking an ESOL Tutor to provide 1:1 support to pupils across Birmingham who speak English as an additional language. You will help improve their English skills, build confidence, and support their progress in education.

This role is ideal for an experienced ESOL Tutor, Teacher, or Teaching Assistant with a passion for helping young people succeed. Ongoing support will be provided throughout placement.

Qualifications

• Experience teaching or supporting ESOL learners.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to adapt lessons to individual needs.
• Right to work in the UK.
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one).
• Two professional references.

• Location - Birmingham

• Contract type - Temporary
• Hours - Part-time (up to 15 hours per week per student)
• Rate of pay - £22+ per hour
• Duration - Ongoing
