Job summary

Prospero Teaching is seeking an ESOL Tutor to provide 1:1 support to pupils across Birmingham who speak English as an additional language. You will help improve their English skills, build confidence, and support progress in education.

This temporary, part-time role is ideal for an experienced ESOL Tutor, Teacher, or Teaching Assistant. The position offers flexible hours (up to 15 hours per week per student) and a starting rate of £22+ per hour, with ongoing opportunities through the placement.

Qualifications

• Experience teaching or supporting ESOL learners
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills
• Ability to adapt lessons to individual needs
• Right to work in the UK
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
• Two professional references
