Prospero Teaching is seeking an EAL Tutor to deliver tailored 1:1 English language tuition to pupils in Birmingham. You will assess language needs, build positive relationships, and help pupils access the curriculum through targeted support.
The role is ideal for experienced EAL professionals or teachers, with flexible part-time hours (15 hours per week per pupil) and a start ASAP. DBS and right-to-work in the UK are required.
As an EAL Tutor, you will provide tailored 1:1 support to pupils across Birmingham whose first language is not English, helping them develop their English language skills, build confidence, and improve their engagement and attainment across the curriculum.
This opportunity is ideal for an experienced EAL Tutor, Teacher, Teaching Assistant, or Learning Support Professional who is passionate about supporting young people to achieve their full potential.
Many of the pupils you will work with in Birmingham may be new to the UK education system, have English as an Additional Language, or require extra support to access learning effectively.
Your role will be to develop positive relationships, assess individual language needs, and deliver personalised tuition that promotes language acquisition, educational progress, and personal development.
Prospero Teaching will work closely with you to monitor each pupil's progress and provide ongoing support throughout your placement.
