Are you passionate about helping others develop their English skills?

We are looking for a dedicated ESOL (English for Speakers of Other Languages) Tutor to join our team and support learners in improving their language proficiency.

About the Role:

As an ESOL Tutor, you will work with individuals or small groups to enhance their English speaking, listening, reading, and writing skills. You will tailor lessons to meet the diverse needs of learners, helping them gain confidence and achieve their personal, academic, or professional goals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver engaging ESOL lessons tailored to learners’ abilities and goals.
• Assess learners’ progress and provide constructive feedback.
• Adapt teaching methods to suit different learning styles and needs.
• Support learners in building confidence in real-life English usage.
• Maintain records of attendance and progress.

Job Details:

• Location: Bromley
• Hours: up to 25 hours per week
• Start date: As soon as possible
• Duration: ongoing until a school placement is found
• Contract Type: Temporary/part-time
• Pay rate: from £25 per hour

Experience, Training, and Qualifications:

• QTS, CELTA, DELTA, TESOL
• Experience working with Special Educational Needs (SEN)
• UK classroom teaching experience and delivering tailored lesson plans
• Creativity, patience, and willingness to think outside the box
• Experience working with challenging behaviour and disengaged pupils

Eligibility Criteria:

• Hold the Right to Work in the UK.
• Possess an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to obtain one.
• Provide two professional child-related references.
