Job summary

Hugh Baird College invites applications for a Head of Department: ESOL at Balliol Road Campus, Liverpool. This part-time, permanent role (0.4 FTE) requires 2 days per week, 7.4 hours per day, with a salary of £45,526 to £47,645 per annum FTE.

The post includes up to 50 days holiday plus statutory bank holidays (pro rata), the Teachers' Pension Scheme, and Medicash with additional staff benefits. Friday work is preferred; early application is encouraged.

• Provide strategic leadership and effective management of ESOL provision.
• Lead a high-performing ESOL curriculum area.
