Job summary

AQR Capital Management is seeking an Analyst to join the EMEA Business Development team, focusing on ESG and sustainability. The role blends ESG responsibilities with broader BD activities, serving institutional clients across Europe, Latin America and the Middle East in a hybrid setup.

You will support ESG-related workflows, client requests and RFPs, while developing specialist expertise in ESG within an investment-management and client-facing environment.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant discipline; sustainability qualifications are a plus.
  • At least 2 years of relevant post-undergraduate professional experience in investment management or related field.
  • Demonstrable interest in ESG and sustainability within investment management.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication; ability to explain complex concepts clearly.

Responsibilities

  • Lead ESG-related client requests and coordinate with the EMEA BD team on RFPs/RFIs and DDQs.
  • Support ESG stewardship, proxy voting and reporting activities including UNPRI and SFDR.
  • Serve as a central BD contact for sustainability projects and investor inquiries.
  • Develop understanding of AQR’s ESG approach and communicate it clearly to clients.
  • Stay current on ESG trends and disseminate findings internally.
  • Help maintain high-quality ESG client and marketing materials.
  • Collaborate across functions to handle ESG inquiries accurately and timely.
  • Support the broader EMEA BD team in client meetings and project work.
