Job summary

M&G is seeking an ESG Reporting Accountant to join the Group Sustainability team for a 6 month period. You will lead the delivery of subsidiary ESG reporting under TCFD, SDR and SFDR, and contribute to the Group Sustainability Report in the Annual Report and Accounts.

The role includes end-to-end production of reports, managing external audits, and collaborating with internal stakeholders on governance and change initiatives.

Qualifications

• Qualified Accountant with experience or knowledge of sustainability reporting.
• Understanding of TCFD, SDR and SFDR regulations.
• Experience in production and delivery of disclosures in financial services.
• Knowledge of controls and external audits.

Responsibilities

• Lead on ESG disclosures design for external reporting including Group AR & Accounts.
• End-to-end production of entity reports: planning, metrics, content drafting.
• Coordinate with auditors on ESG disclosure queries.
• Manage team controls and risk reporting for ESG disclosures.
• Maintain updates on ESG regs and align disclosures with requirements.
• Prepare governance papers and support regulatory change initiatives.
