Job summary

M&G is seeking an ESG Reporting Accountant to join the Group Sustainability team for a 6 month period. You will lead the delivery of subsidiary sustainability reporting under TCFD, SDR and SFDR and contribute to the Group Sustainability Report in the Annual Report and Accounts.

You will manage end-to-end reports, coordinate with auditors, maintain controls and present papers to governance forums, while collaborating with stakeholders to drive compliant disclosures.

Qualifications

• Qualified Accountant with knowledge of sustainability reporting.
• Understanding of TCFD, SDR and SFDR regulatory frameworks.
• Experience producing disclosures in financial services or auditing such disclosures.
• Understanding of controls and governance processes.
• Experience coordinating with external auditors.

Responsibilities

• Design ESG disclosures for external reporting documents, including the Annual Report and Accounts.
• End-to-end production of entity ESG reports with planning, change management, metrics analysis, and verification.
• Coordinate responses to auditor queries on ESG disclosures.
• Maintain and improve the team's key controls and risk management returns.
• Draft governance papers for boards and committees and support governance processes.
