Royal Voluntary Service has an opportunity available for an ESG Manager to join our team. You will join us on a full-time, permanent basis and in return, you will receive a competitive salary from £42,810 per annum, dependent on experience. This role is home based with occasional national travel.
About the ESG Manager role:
The ESG Manager will be responsible for the operational delivery and performance of the Charity’s ESG function. This is a strategic role responsible for developing and managing ESG initiatives to align business practices with sustainable principles to ensure transparency, compliance and positive social impact.
This is the first time RVS has had a dedicated ESG role. Core to the purpose of this role is to define what an ESG programme at RVS might look like; what certifications or standards are most appropriate for RVS to aim for; and lead the ongoing management and delivery of organisational change.
Supporting RVS’s ambitions to achieve ISO certifications - including 14001 - you will have experience of achieving ISO certification within other organisations, offering advice to teams across RVS on ISO frameworks and process.
Managing multiple and complex projects, the post holder will act as a subject matter expert to lead best practice, regulatory developments and drive continuous improvement and innovation.
The post holder will lead and support ESG strategies, policies and frameworks to align with the Charity’s Corporate Plan and business initiatives.
Hours: 35 hours per week.
