Job summary

Otis Plymouth is seeking an Escalator Service Engineer to maintain and repair a portfolio of lifts and escalators in the Plymouth area. You will perform planned maintenance, respond to breakdowns, and strive for first-time fixes while prioritising safety and customer service.

Applicants should have NVQ 3 in escalator service/maintenance, a valid driving licence, and 24+ months in the elevator sector. You will work onsite with market-leading technology, with overtime and a competitive salary.

Qualifications

• Hold an NVQ level 3 in escalator service, maintenance, or repair.
• Hold a driver's license and be within 1 hour commute of Liverpool.
• At least 24 months of experience in the elevator sector.
• Good skills in electricity and electrical engineering.
• Committed to safety and able to work alone or in a team.
• Comfortable using electronic and digital tools.

Responsibilities

• Carry out 100% of elevator maintenance and service visits within your territory.
• Manage portfolio of escalators in defined area.
• Respond quickly to fix breakdowns with first-time fix aim.
• Carry out minor repairs to maintain operation.
• Liaise with the customer on site to build relationships.
