Job summary

Otis is seeking an Escalator Repair engineer to maintain lifts and escalators in the Plymouth region. You will ensure passenger safety by servicing a portfolio of units and responding to breakdowns with a goal of first-time fixes.

Ideal candidates hold NVQ Level 3 in escalator service/maintenance/repair, a driving licence, and have 24+ months in the elevator sector with solid electrical skills and a safety-first mindset.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 in escalator service, maintenance or repair is required.
• Driver's license and within 1 hour of Liverpool.
• At least 24 months of experience in the elevator sector.
• Strong electrical knowledge.
• Able to work alone or in a team with safety priority.

Responsibilities

• Carry out 100% of the elevator maintenance and service visits in your territory.
• Work within your defined geographical area and manage the portfolio of escalators.
• Respond quickly to breakdowns to achieve first-time fix where possible.
• Carry out minor repairs to maintain operation and liaise with customers on site.
