Job summary

Otis is seeking an Escalator Repair Engineer to service and maintain a portfolio of lifts in the Northwest region, including travel within the Liverpool area. You will ensure passenger safety and perform repairs to keep systems running, while liaising with clients on site to maintain strong relationships.

The role demands NVQ Level 3 in escalator services, a driving license, and at least 24 months of elevator sector experience.

Qualifications

• Hold an NVQ Level 3 in Escalator service, maintenance, or repair.
• Hold a driver’s license and be within 1 hour commute of Liverpool.
• Have at least 24 months of experience in the elevator sector.
• Have good skills in electricity and electrical engineering.

Responsibilities

• Carry out 100% of the elevator maintenance and service visits within your territory.
• Work within your defined geographical area, managing the portfolio of elevators.
• Respond quickly to fix breakdowns, aiming for first-time fix.
• Carry out minor repairs to keep operations running.
• Liaise with customers on site to build good working relationships.
