Job summary

NMS Recruit Ltd t/a Russell Taylor Group is seeking an ERP Transformation Project Manager to lead a full ERP programme in Chorley. You will drive change across finance, procurement and operations, ensuring the business is ready for the new system rather than merely installing software.

You will act as client-side lead, manage consultants and vendors, define requirements, support vendor selection and oversee integration of core processes.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering ERP or business management transformation end-to-end.
• Experience integrating finance, procurement, project controls, timesheets and reporting.
• Strong requirements definition, vendor selection and implementation experience.
• Excellent senior stakeholder and change management skills.
• Background in engineering, professional services, nuclear or other regulated environments.
• Business transformation mindset; not just IT project management.

Responsibilities

• Lead the transformation programme to replace the business's core management systems, from current-state assessment and requirements definition through to ERP selection, implementation and adoption.
• Acting as client-side lead, managing consultants and vendors throughout.
• Overseeing integration of finance, procurement, project controls, timesheets/resource management and reporting into the new system.
• Running requirements gathering and vendor selection.
• Managing senior stakeholders and leading change across the business as it adopts new ways of working.

ERP Transformation Project Manager - Chorley

Are you a Project Manager who's led a full-scale ERP transformation, not just an IT rollout? Do you enjoy working across finance, procurement and operations to get a business genuinely ready for a new system, not just installed on one? Fancy taking ownership of a major transformation programme within a well-established engineering business?

Where you'll be doing it:

This is a well-established engineering organisation of around 600 people, based in Chorley, currently replacing its core business management systems as part of a wider transformation programme.

What you'll need:

• Proven experience delivering an ERP or business management system transformation end-to-end
• Experience integrating finance, procurement, project controls, timesheets/resource management and reporting
• Strong requirements definition, vendor selection and implementation experience
• Excellent senior stakeholder and change management skills
• Background in engineering, professional services, nuclear or another regulated/project-based environment is strongly preferred
• A genuine business transformation mindset - this is not simply an IT project management role
