Job summary

Head Resourcing Ltd is seeking an experienced Solution Architect for an ERP transformation engagement in Edinburgh. The role requires leading end-to-end architecture, governance and stakeholder collaboration within a complex enterprise environment.

The candidate will drive design across interfaces, integrations, data migration and deployment activities, ensuring scalable, secure solutions aligned with the technology strategy. On-site presence in Edinburgh is required.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Solution Architect on large-scale ERP implementation or transformation programmes.
• Strong understanding of enterprise architecture, integrations, APIs, middleware and complex application landscapes.
• Experience governing and assuring designs delivered by ERP vendors, systems integrators or third-party suppliers.
• Strong architecture governance and Design Authority experience.
• Ability to translate business requirements into practical, scalable and supportable solutions.
• Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills, including senior leadership interaction.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced programme environment with multiple workstreams.

Responsibilities

• Provide architectural leadership across the end-to-end ERP transformation lifecycle.
• Govern integrations across the enterprise landscape and oversee solution design, testing and deployment.
• Lead design reviews, technical workshops and architecture governance to maintain standards and documentation.
• Support data migration, deployment readiness and knowledge transfer for a sustainable implementation.
