Job summary

Bright Purple Resourcing Ltd is seeking an experienced Integration Architect to lead the integration strategy for a major ERP transformation from Edinburgh. The role is hybrid with 2 days on site per week, connecting COINS ERP to the wider technology landscape across APIs, middleware, messaging and data flows.

You will collaborate with technical teams and implementation partners to ensure secure, resilient integrations that are ready for deployment and ongoing support.

Qualifications

• Integration architecture experience in large ERP or enterprise transformation programmes.
• Strong knowledge of APIs, middleware, messaging and event-driven architecture.
• Experience with RabbitMQ, Azure Service Bus and/or Apache Kafka.
• Experience integrating cloud, SaaS and on-premise applications.
• Strong architecture governance and vendor assurance experience.
• Understanding of security, resilience, performance and monitoring.

Responsibilities

• Defining the integration strategy, target architecture and standards.
• Designing reusable integration patterns across APIs, messaging, batch and event-driven integration.
• Leading integration requirements and design workshops.
• Reviewing and assuring interface designs and data flows.
• Governing middleware and integration platform usage.
• Supporting engineering teams through build, testing and deployment.
• Defining operational support, monitoring and transition requirements.
