Job summary

Prestige Recruitment Specialists is seeking ERP Superusers for a major systems transformation in East Yorkshire. This permanent, Monday to Friday role supports Production and Manufacturing with the new Microsoft Dynamics 365 ERP. You will be the go-to person for ERP queries and help ensure system health and data accuracy.

You will train users, coordinate with IT for improvements, and promote best practices across the business.

Qualifications

• Experience in a Manufacturing or Production environment.
• Experience using an ERP system in day-to-day operations.
• Ability to explain technical processes to non-technical colleagues.
• Desirable: experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365.

Responsibilities

• Act as the first point of contact for ERP queries across Production and Manufacturing.
• Monitor end-to-end processes and health of Microsoft Dynamics 365.
• Identify and resolve data, system and process issues affecting production.
• Support the implementation and continuous improvement of the ERP system.
• Provide training and ongoing support to system users.
• Promote accurate data entry and best practice.
• Work with IT Business Analysts to drive system improvements.
• Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and system updates.

Job description

Salary: £34,000 - 39,000 per year

Requirements

• Previous experience working within a Manufacturing or Production environment.
• Experience using an ERP system in a day-to-day operational role.
• Experience acting as a system go-to person or supporting colleagues with system queries.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and an understanding of data accuracy.
• The ability to explain technical or system processes clearly to non-technical colleagues.
• A proactive approach to identifying improvements and solving problems.
• Experience of Microsoft Dynamics 365 would be highly desirable, although experience with another ERP system will be considered.

Responsibilities

• Act as the first point of contact for ERP-related queries across Production and Manufacturing.
• Monitor and maintain the health of end-to-end processes within Microsoft Dynamics 365.
• Identify and resolve system, data and process issues that could impact production.
• Monitor background processes, batch jobs, costing, inventory and production transactions.
• Investigate bottlenecks, process failures and performance issues, escalating more complex problems where required.
• Support the implementation and continuous improvement of the new ERP system.
• Provide training, coaching and ongoing support to system users.
• Promote accurate data entry, transactional discipline and best practice.
• Work closely with IT Business Analysts to investigate root causes and deliver system improvements.
• Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and help prepare the business for system updates and releases.
• Use system data and operational insight to identify opportunities to improve efficiency and performance.

Our client has been developing a modernised ERP system since 2024 and is now approaching the implementation of Microsoft Dynamics 365 across the business. This is a permanent, Monday to Friday role offering a salary of £34,000 to £39,000 per annum. You will play a key role in the successful adoption, day-to-day operation and continuous improvement of the new system, supporting the Production and Manufacturing functions within a major manufacturing business at an exciting point in its development.
