Job summary

DD Group is seeking a Director of ERP & IT Delivery to own a multi-country Microsoft Dynamics 365 ERP transformation and broader technology-enabled business change. You will drive strategy, governance and adoption, aligning ERP with warehousing, logistics, finance and customer service to deliver tangible commercial benefits.

You will lead senior stakeholders, shape operating models and build a high-performing delivery function capable of sustaining transformative change across Europe.

We're looking for an exceptional Director of ERP & IT Delivery to take ownership of this journey, leading our Microsoft Dynamics 365 ERP implementation and wider technology-enabled business transformation.

This isn't simply about delivering a new system. It's about transforming how our business works, creating smarter processes, improving operational efficiency and delivering measurable commercial results.

You'll be at the heart of our Group transformation, working closely with senior leaders across the business to turn strategy into reality.

The opportunity

Reporting directly to our Group Chief Operating Officer, you'll take end-to-end accountability for a complex, multi-country ERP and IT transformation programme. You'll lead everything from programme strategy, investment governance and implementation partners through to business readiness, adoption and realisation of financial and operational benefits.

Your key priorities will include:

• Leading our ERP transformation: Drive the full Microsoft Dynamics 365 implementation journey, from mobilisation and design through to deployment, stabilisation and successful adoption.
• Shaping our Group Operating Model: Standardise and improve core business processes, particularly Order-to-Cash and Procure-to-Pay, across our European operations.
• Connecting technology and operations: Ensure ERP transformation works seamlessly alongside warehousing, automation, logistics, finance and customer service.
• Driving commercial value: Translate significant technology investment into tangible improvements in productivity, profitability, service and working capital.
• Leading partners and stakeholders: Take ownership of systems integrator performance, commercial relationships, programme governance and executive-level reporting.
• Building delivery capability: Establish and lead a high-performing Group delivery function, creating the structure, accountability and expertise needed for sustainable transformation.

What will make you successful?

We're looking for an experienced transformation leader who combines deep ERP delivery expertise with strong commercial and operational judgement.

You’ll bring:

• Significant experience leading complex, multi-million-pound ERP or business transformation programmes across multiple countries or business units.
• A proven track record of delivering at least one end-to-end enterprise ERP implementation, from initial mobilisation through to operational stabilisation and benefits realisation.
• Strong Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Supply Chain Management experience, ideally, although exceptional experience with another Tier-1 ERP platform will also be considered.
• A solid understanding of distribution, wholesale, warehouse operations and systems integration.
• Experience developing standardised business processes and operating models across complex organisations.
• The commercial confidence to manage major investments, challenge suppliers and influence senior executives.
• Evidence of delivering measurable improvements in operational efficiency, profitability or working capital.
• The ability to lead, inspire and bring people with you through significant organisational change.
