Job summary

Capital One UK is hiring a Finance Senior Associate for a fixed-term contract in Nottingham, with a hybrid pattern and regular travel to London. You will help lead the ERP modernization, focus on testing, process remediation and delivery milestones.

The role sits mainly in Accounting but partners with broader Finance to ensure data integrity and timely month-end close during project phases. Candidates with accounting or risk backgrounds and experience with ERP systems will excel.

Qualifications

• Solid background in accounting processes and finance systems.
• Experience with ERP systems and Workday ERP desirable.
• Proven ability to identify financial risks and implement or test internal controls.
• Experience in finance projects with strong problem-solving and stakeholder management.
• Excellent organisation, time management and communication in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to work independently or in a team and collaborate with offshore teams.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate testing coverage and assurance for the new ERP environment.
• Drive risk & control documentation and testing for updated finance artifacts.
• Coordinate operational readiness and delivery of project improvements.
• Support month-end close and reporting during critical project phases.
