Job summary

MCS Group is partnering with an established business to recruit an ERP Data & Reporting Administrator. This role takes ownership of critical product data, enhances reporting, and helps colleagues get more from the systems they use daily.

Reporting to the IT Manager, you will maintain ERP data such as product records and pricing, build automated reports and dashboards, and develop practical guides to support data quality across Sales, Purchasing and Finance.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience administering data within an ERP system.
• Experience with Kerridge K8, SAP, Microsoft Dynamics or Oracle.

This is an opportunity to take ownership of business data, improve reporting and help colleagues get more from the systems they use every day. Reporting to the IT Manager, you'll work closely with Sales, Purchasing and Finance, with a particular focus on accurate product information and pricing.

The role

• Maintain accurate and consistent data across the ERP system, including product records and pricing structures.
• Introduce data checks and resolve discrepancies, investigating the causes of recurring issues.
• Use advanced Excel skills to organise, analyse and report on business data.
• Develop automated reports and dashboards to support business decisions.
• Work with IT and other departments to bring data from different sources together and improve data processes.
• Create practical guides and support colleagues in using systems and maintaining data correctly.

What you'll bring

• Hands‑on experience administering data within an ERP system, such as Kerridge K8, SAP, Microsoft Dynamics or Oracle.
• Advanced Excel skills and experience using reporting or BI tools.
• Experience managing product data and/or pricing structures.
• Strong attention to detail and a methodical approach to data quality.
• The ability to explain information clearly and support non-technical colleagues.
• Good organisation skills and the ability to manage competing priorities.

Experience with Power BI, Phocas, Power Query, SQL or Product Information Management systems would be beneficial, as would a background in wholesale, distribution or retail. You'll have the opportunity to make a visible impact on how the business manages information, produces reports and supports day-to-day operations.
