Job summary

Fortress Recruit Limited is seeking an experienced Contract Data Processing Analyst to support a major ERP transformation. Based in Poole with remote flexibility, the role will involve cleansing, consolidating and migrating large data sets from multiple legacy sources into Infor.

You will use SQL and Excel for data extraction and validation, collaborate with data owners, and help ensure data quality across BOMs, parts, stock and POs.

Qualifications

• Strong experience in data analysis, data cleansing or data migration.
• Excel skills at an advanced level.
• Good working knowledge of SQL and ability to query multiple datasets.
• Experience with large volumes of business data.
• Attention to detail and methodical data quality approach.
• Ability to identify patterns and anomalies in complex datasets.
• Experience working independently and managing a data workstream.
• Excellent communication with stakeholders across functions.
• Knowledge of manufacturing data including BOMs, routings, stock and POs.
• Power BI experience is beneficial though not primarily a dashboard role.
• ERP implementation experience would be highly advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Reviewing and rationalising large volumes of existing business data.
• Identifying duplicate, conflicting, incomplete and inconsistent records.
• Comparing data across legacy databases and systems.
• Cleansing and standardising data for migration into Infor.
• Identifying data restructuring or reformatting needs for the new system.
• Using SQL to extract, interrogate and reconcile data where appropriate.
• Working with Excel and other data sources to collate information.
• Supporting data mapping and migration preparation.
• Collaborating with Process Data Owners to resolve data issues.
• Reviewing data related to BOMs, parts, routings, stock, suppliers, customers, orders, finance and HR.
• Supporting data held behind PLM/engineering systems (SolidWorks, Creo, Windchill).
• Identifying missing data and defining requirements before migration.
• Providing clean datasets to support ERP implementation teams.
• Supporting reconciliation and validation as the project progresses.
