Job summary

DD Group in the United Kingdom is seeking an experienced Software QA professional to safeguard changes to ERP and business-critical applications. You will define test plans, execute functional and regression testing, manage defects, and coordinate UAT with stakeholders across the business.

The role is a fixed-term contract (FTC) until 30 June 2027, working with the IT team during a transformative period at DD Group.

Qualifications

• Experience in software QA for business-critical applications such as ERP.
• Strong test design and execution skills across functional, regression and integration testing.
• Experience managing defects through identification, prioritisation, retesting and closure.

Responsibilities

• Define test approaches and acceptance criteria for changes.
• Create and maintain test plans, cases, scripts and evidence.
• Carry out functional, regression, integration and smoke testing.
• Coordinate UAT with stakeholders across the business.
• Identify, log and prioritise defects and retest until closure.
• Build reusable regression testing coverage for core processes.
• Validate ERP version upgrades and resilience changes.
• Test interfaces, data flows and reconciliations as required.
• Provide QA input to release-readiness decisions.
• Improve QA standards, traceability and testing discipline across IT projects.
